3Sixteen AW22 season is inspired by colour palettes that explore the intersection between manmade and natural. They also explore how natural materials are transformed into functional objects, such as natural wood furniture that have been used for decades - even centuries - while taking on beautiful patinas.
The Crosscut is a core piece of the brand’s history. With their recent production capabilities, they’re excited to continue expanding the Crosscut presence with incredible new fabrics like this heavy charcoal twill plaid woven exclusively for 3sixteen, which exceeds anything we’ve seen before. This chunky twill weave is brushed hand on both sides, resulting in a uniquely textured fabric.
This beauty features a crossed-back yoke and enamel-coated metal buttons that will patina and chip over time.
Founded in LA by Johan Lam and Andrew Chen over a decade ago, 3sixteen's philosophy is evident in pieces they've developed since 2008: shirts, jackets, basics and accessories all take cues in form and function from their jeans. Fabrics and trims are always chosen for their capacity to develop character with time. 3sixteen aim is that, with diligent wear, the customers are rewarded with something well-aged, never "old."
