We are excited to present the new 3sixteen x Chup collaboration. Of all the particular projects between both brands, we particularly love this one because of the sock silhouette itself. This style is called “Tribes” and is a chunky ribbed sock pattern with a contrasting toe colour. This sock-style is comfortable to wear, has great recovery and fits a wide range of feet quite easily. And as always, these socks are knit in Japan on Chup’s vintage sock machines.
3sixteen decided to run mismatched colourways to provide you with a non-standard fun way to wear their socks this fall season. We are featuring a tan-mustard option that ties perfectly into our seasonal colour palette. What they have come up with is a sock that is mellow when it’s worn with regular footwear but has a bit of pop when worn with sandals or with shoes off.
Founded in LA by Johan Lam and Andrew Chen over a decade ago, 3sixteen's philosophy is evident in pieces they've developed since 2008: shirts, jackets, basics and accessories all take cues in form and function from their jeans. Fabrics and trims are always chosen for their capacity to develop character with time. 3sixteen aim is that, with diligent wear, the customers are rewarded with something well-aged, never "old."
