This model is a hybrid between a 1950s Wellington and a traditional Boston style frame. The frame is made of cellulose acetate, one of the highest quality and premium materials for eyeglass construction. Cellulose acetate is highly durable, resistant to temperature changes, and comfortable to wear for extended periods. The hinge connecting the temple and rim is made with seven hinges, the highest peak in Japan.
The lenses have a light blue tint, which is ideal for overcast or partially sunny conditions. They allow a good amount of light in, making them unsuitable for very sunny conditions. However, you can wear them all year round and in many situations, including indoors.
